Novel Title Reveal!
It’s finally time for my soon-to-be-finished book to graduate from being dubbed TBA to getting its own name.
If you’re part of my Patreon fellowship, this won’t be a surprise to you; you’ve known it for a little while, after all. But I’m now ready to reveal it to the whole of the internet! (Meaning, of course, whoever is interested and decides to read this blog post.)
The reason for keeping it “secret” so long was partly because I wanted to save it for when the novel was in a more-finished state, as it is now, and partly because I wasn’t sure if I would end up workshopping the title again. Finding the right one – something brief, succinct, catchy, a small collection of words that somehow sums up the essence of your entire years-long project – it’s not an easy task.
After using this title for so many months now, though, I can officially confess: I love it. Maybe there’s no such thing as a “perfect” title, but I think I’ve found the right one. And it’s the one I’m choosing to take into the next step of this journey, querying.
